When you think of the word Hero what comes to mind? Some of you may think of a delicious sandwich, others may think of our military or first responders, and some may think of super hero’s like in comic books. A hero is someone that you look up to, you respect, you want to be like, or you want to learn from. Are you a hero?

Our Mission

What we believe here is that you are a Hero! You may not know it, be living it or recognize that you are a Hero. We are here to encourage you to become the hero you are meant to be. Heroes are everywhere. Our site and purpose are to recognize and encourage heroes with love, compassion, and thanks. Heroes often go unnoticed, unrecognized and under encouraged. Sometimes you need to be your own hero as well and you need to be reminded that you have a hero inside.

Heroes save people. Become your own hero and save yourself.

Save yourself mentally, physically, spiritually. Take off your glasses, rip open your shirt, show your cape and fly. You are what you need. Be proud. Be strong. Be courageous.

Choose to be a hero

Heroes didn’t leap tall buildings or stop bullets with an outstretched hand; they didn’t wear boots and capes. They bled, and they bruised, and their superpowers were as simple as listening, or loving. Heroes were ordinary people who knew that even if their own lives were impossibly knotted, they could untangle someone else’s. And maybe that one act could lead someone to rescue you right back.
— Jodi Picoult
